This video is based on the story of the three little pigs, which is known worldwide because it has been translated into many languages. However,this video feature is not a reflection of the traditional children's story, because the end is not traditionally expected.
This difference makes it fun for children, despite they having heard the story, they are surprised,since they are not going to see what they expect. Furtheremore,this video also contains only images and music, but the characters have no voice. Therefore, students can use the imagination to deduce what each character would say.
Activity proposed for this video:
- putting voice to the characters: children can write short sentences in English about what is happening at every moment. This activity stimulates creativity and interest. In addition, we work in English writing and pronunciation when the pupils give voice to the characters
Thus, we can work different aspects of English from a video on a traditional history, that children can enjoy using new technologies!
